
Membership of the Canadian Geotechnical Society – National Capital Region (CGS-NCR)
Membership in the CGS-NCR is open to professional, geoscientists, academics, and students interested in the field of earth science. Becoming a member provide an opportunity for all members to maintain a close contact with the regional professional community, be informed of on-going professional events, and get access to technical information and references.
Members are entitled to a discount on registration for all events. Cost difference between members and non-members when attending couple of events will cover the cost of membership. Members will be informed by email of on-going events hosted by the CGS-NCR and other events that may be of interest and support to our members.
Becoming a member of CGS-NCR provides an opportunity to promote your professional experience and project cases by presenting them during scheduled organized luncheon presentations or by submitting short case history write-ups to be reviewed and included as references on our website.
Renewal notices will be sent out annually to cover the upcoming new membership year.

Becoming a student member is free and requires a simple registration along with proof of active enrollment in an academic institution. Acceptable proof includes a valid student ID, a current enrollment letter, a recent transcript, a class schedule, or a tuition payment receipt.
